Russell Ricketts founded R.K Ricketts Pty Ltd, trading as RKR Engineering, in 1991. Working from humble beginnings from his home garage, Russell expanded conservatively over the years to now employ a work force of approximately 30 full time staff of experienced engineers, boilermakers and welders. In March 2020 Rhomberg Australia acquired RKR Engineering, joining forces to align existing synergies and explore opportunities.
Today, RKR Engineering provides comprehensive project engineering, metal fabrication and site installation services as well as rail equipment sales and hire. As specialists in the field of design, fabrication and installation of steelwork we have repeat clients within the infrastructure, construction and process industries.
More than a steel fabricator, at RKR we have our own qualified engineers and project managers to ensure our services are not only completed within budget but also on time with an emphasis and commitment to a safe, practical and certified result.
